In her own words…
I grew up on Long Island, New York, surrounded by art and music. Living near NYC, I spent time from an early age going to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art. It wasn’t until my husband and I retired to Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia, that I began painting seriously. My paintings primarily come from my fascination with people and the way they interact and go about their daily lives. I’ve always been a “people watcher” and this contributes to my endless supply of inspiration. Color, light, a sense of place, a certain feeling are what I’m trying to capture. I want the viewer to see and feel the joy I experience each day when painting.

I post new paintings often on my Facebook page, so come follow along!
