Stitch and Sip

Updated: Sep 20, 2024

At Fables and Feathers Winery

Every third Monday (the next one is set for Nov. 21st) from 3-5pm, you'll find a group of stitchers gathering at Fables and Feathers Winery to enjoy a couple of hours of fellowship and a glass or two of wine while logging some rows on their current WIP (work in progress).

Sponsored by Stitch Witch in downtown Bedford, this particular group is a hybrid mix of crafters with members of several area stitching groups often convening together at the peaceful winery. All stitching crafts, ages, and skill levels are welcome. The Stitch & Sips usually attract somewhere between 5-15 busy bees at any given meet-up. You might find someone knitting the ubiquitous pair of socks while another is working on crocheting squares for an afghan. Maybe a cross-stitched Christmas present is underway, or someone is perfecting their embroidery technique… Just grab your crafting bag and come join in the fun!

Stitch Witch carries all of the supplies you need for whatever stitching project you happen to be working on, and they even provide instruction at their shop! There are in-house group class options, one-on-one guidance, and regular practice time (knitting circles that are open to all) held on Tuesdays at 11:00am and Thursdays at 5:00pm.
